EVIDENCE-MINDED AYURVEDIC NUTRACEUTICAL RESEARCH
Star Elixir is a research-stage startup exploring a standardized herbal-mineral formulation for supportive oncology research. Our focus is disciplined extraction, safety mapping, preclinical validation, and responsible translation from traditional knowledge to modern evidence.
Based at the IIT Kharagpur Research Park in New Town (Kolkata), the venture is seeking research collaboration across extraction science, cytotoxicity testing, bioavailability, and scale-ready formulation.
CORE FORMULATION RESEARCH
Guduchi — extract identity and research into immune-supportive pathways.
Ashwagandha — defined withanolide profiles and cellular stress pathways.
Triphala — a three-fruit blend studied for antioxidant and digestive-support properties.
Nayantara (Catharanthus roseus) leaves — rigorous alkaloid profiling, controlled dosing, and toxicology are essential before any translational use.
Selenium — a trace micronutrient requiring tightly controlled dosing and bioavailability assessment.
HOW WE WORK
A stepwise programme designed to turn a promising concept into testable, reproducible evidence.
RESEARCH ROADMAP
1. Controlled extraction and chemical profiling
Standardize botanical extracts and establish reproducible identity, purity, and bioactive markers.
2. Cytotoxicity and safety mapping
Use appropriate in-vitro models to study activity, therapeutic windows, micro-dosing, and potential toxicity.
3. Translation and scale readiness
Develop a clinically responsible, manufacturing-ready formulation pathway with research and incubation partners.
COLLABORATION
We welcome inquiries from research institutions, incubation partners, natural-product chemists, pharmacologists, toxicologists, formulation scientists, and advisors in responsible clinical research design.
